The Future Sounds of Swing is the one and only Lindy Hop camp! (in Leeds).
It is hosted at Leeds University Union, in association with the student Lindy Hop Society there.
Professional teachers are recruited for classes in beginner, intermediate and advanced level
Lindy Hop as well as some completely unprofessional ones to give classes in who-knows-what.
On the Friday and Saturday nights there are big parties, which are organised in collaboration
with LindyFridays (one of the Leeds community Lindy Hop groups).
The Future Sounds of Swing is a tightly run ship to make it as inexpensive as
possible for everyone. The camp is open to all, and has a specific discount for students.
In the same spirit we will host many visitors as possible with our local dancers.
This event is part of the exciting growth of the Lindy Hop scene in the North of the UK, and
a place where all generations of dancers come together.

Fred yaps happily:
" Thank you to everyone who came along to Future Sounds 2009.
I had a great time! Although I got distracted chasing a car and
missed out on meeting most of you... but I hear from the LindyFridays
and LUU SwingSoc folks that you were all awesome.
Fred x "
